Guides for Richmond, VA
These are some guides (that I created on iNaturalist), all for Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico. For non-Richmonders, these are the counties directly around Richmond.
Here they are:
Wasps, Bees, and Ants:

Beetles:

Butterflies:

I'll add more, I'm still working on them. I use the "from Place" feature on iNat. This means that it takes every observation within the boundaries (Richmond) and makes a list of all the species seen there. It then adds the list to the guide. Naturally, more species will be observed in the future, and by clicking "add taxa" again (like I did the first time I added the list), I can update the guide. Which means that ANy new species observed in the area since the guide's creation will appear there. The guide [currently] covers all of the species.
Seems trustworthy to me... I even checked. There WERE all the species (of butterfly) observed within the boundaries in the guide.
Hope you like 'em.
